Established in 1992, Recomac soon became recognised as the market leader in the specialist surfacing
across carriageway, footway and sports markets. The company is highly regarded for the consistency and
quality of its services by several national organisations.
Employing over 40 staff at our Head Office in Manchester, the company provide a full contracting service aswell as being able to work alongside local authorities and major contractors to surface motorways, roads, car parks and footpaths.
Recomac is a mature company, which is continually expanding to meet the requirements of local authorities and main contractors in the field of highway maintenance and sport surfacing. Recomac's vision for the twenty first century is to be in the vanguard of the development of new products while maintaining the high standards and quality of the company's core business for which it has become renowned throughout the UK and Ireland.
Two most recent products, Fibre Pave and Italgreen are evidence of Recomac's commitment to growth. Both are
unique, cost effective and come with the Recomac stamp of quality.
The company also produces surfacing used in landscaping, Décor Pave. This attractive, hardwearing and low maintenance natural stone surfacing uses an epoxy resin binder to hold natural aggregates, and it has been extensively used by landscapers looking for an alternative to drab, black footpaths.
Recomac Sports was established in 1999, to provide commercial football facilities in inner city areas, two centres were established in Manchester and one in Dublin. In November 2000 we signed a unique partnership with Manchester City Council and The F.A to provide football opportunities within the city through a varied event calendar. This plan to improve facilities and opportunities for all specifically targeted through a grass roots development programme.
A ‘SAPCA’ member Recomac now installs in excess of 15,000m2 of artificial grass per year for clients
including Manchester City Council, Astra Zeneca and major contractors including; Allenbuild, Multibuild and
Dew Pitchmastic. The product range available is unique and varied, catering for all sports and landscape projects,
budgets and specifications. A number of our products have met the rigorous testing procedures for both
UEFA and FIFA requirements.
